As the plant matures, those three cannabinoids decarboxylate into CBD, THC, and CBC leaving trace amounts of CBG. This cannabinoid bonds with the CB1 and CB2 receptors within the endocannabinoid system where it is thought to strengthen the function of anandamide. Due to its unique properties, CBG has no euphoric properties, but amazing therapeutic effects. It has been shown to reduce inflammation and pain.
